Eddie got his 5 stitches out yesterday. He did really well. He did cry and fuss a bit, but I would too. Den went with us. We both marveled at being in and out of a doctor's office in less than one hour.He now has a ster strip (that thing that holds the skin together and looks like a brown bandaid) for the next couple days. The doctor wants to see him again in 3 weeks.
He was tired and had a rough afternoon. Blood started appearing under the ster strip and I freaked and called the doctor. They said it was fine. Ugh.

Delighted that all of you went to the doctor's to take out the stitches. Will the decision about plastic surgury come in three weeks?

I don't think the consult was so much about future plastic surgury, rather about making sure that it healed properly and that it heals with a minimum of scaring.
Eddie is so cute! love that smile in the last pic! glad everybody made it through the removal of the stitches!
