The 3 "P's" of a Sick Baby

Eddie's having a rough week. Between a snotty nosed cold and what we think is the stomach flu (at the same time), he's not feeling too well. And its only Wednesday. He definitely has his dad's genes when it comes to sick person behavior. If it were me, I would not be smiling and flirting with people at the grocery store (this was before he developed the stomach maladies).

So I was at a meeting tonight and Dennis was holding down the fort. Glad it was his night, below is his description of what happened:

I've had a rough evening. Eddie pooped in the bathtub on me (2nd time this week) just as I was about to scoop him out. Rince & repeat, I guess. Then when I was trying to give him some Dimeatap, he puked up his dinner & then some on me (2nd time this week). When I threw the puked up clothes in the laundry, I didn't notice the stopper in the bottom of the sink and flooded half of the basement. Maybe I'll have a beer . . .

Yeah, that sounds like J-genes, not L-genes!

Lets hope that continues. Funny to see the stuff that "seems" more like one of us than the other.

I remember holding up my infant daughter in a group of friends (Sunday School class I think) and saying, "What do you think of that?" and she spit up all over me. Aren't children fun?

I hope the beer tasted good!
